About the Course First aid is an essential tool in any company or in our daily lives. This course aims to qualify students to provide first aid to victims until the arrival of INEM resources at the scene and to teach basic notions of basic life support. Target audience: Company employees; General public Prerequisites: Internet connection and access to the GPMédicos Learning Platform Certification: At the end of the training, an automatic training certificate is issued. General Objectives: at the end of this training, trainees should be able to: • Identify and Know Basic Concepts of First Aid • Know the legislative and regulatory framework regarding First Aid; • Perform Victim Analysis • Apply Basic Life Support • Apply First Aid Measures in Specific Situations Contents and Stages: content made available throughout the course. Methodologies The entire course takes place asynchronously on the ACADEMIA GPMEDICOS platform. Each module provides educational resources that may consist of manuals, videos, links, among others. Activities can be carried out according to your availability, with no set time, and there may be a time limit to complete your training. Evaluation is based on completion of the various stages. When accessing the platform, the work plan and the various stages are made available, as well as the moments for knowledge assessment. Each trainee is approved upon completion of the various stages of the course and with at least 50% correct answers in the knowledge assessment.
